Founded in 2008 as a not-for-profit community organisation, Riversmart Australia is based at the Window on the Wetlands (WOW) Centre, Warren NSW. We promote healthy rivers and wetlands for the community and the environment. Established in 2015, the Window on the Wetlands (WOW) Centre, provides a space, information and a place to offer guidance when exploring and learning about what makes the rivers, wetlands and surrounding floodplains of this special part of inland Australia so important.

Together, we can inspire the next generation of environmental leaders and make a positive impact on our planet.

We’re about educating and advocating for the environment. We do this through our Schools Discovery Program, promoting walks and tours of the wetlands, in Warren and further afield.

We’ve undertaken many projects over the years to develop the Window at the Wetlands (WOW) Centre at Warren. We’ve worked with landholders in the region, developed and installed information boards around the region and at Tiger Bay, as well as contributed to joint projects with other organisations. We haven’t finished our work. Talk to us about how you might get involved or support our work.
