There are so many ways to learn more about the wetlands of this region and the local Warren wetlands, Tiger Bay. There are information boards in the WOW Centre native gardens to read and learn from, and a self-guided walk of Tiger Bay that offers a lot of information about this biodiversity hotspot. Both options will give you information about the ecological and cultural significance of the site.

If you’re keen to go further afield on your visit to the area, we can help organise canoe and waterways guided tours (conditions permitting).

Bus tours

Bring your bus tour or group to the WOW Centre, where you can enjoy the gardens, cafe and even add a personal guided tour of Tiger Bay with our volunteer RiverSmart Australia guide. RiverSmart can also provide a guide to join your bus group in the Macquarie Marshes to enhance the discovery of this iconic area.

Scenic flights over the iconic Macquarie Marshes may also be arranged by arrangement in advance.
