RiverSmart Australia’s Window on the Wetlands Centre at Warren is a community-run education, recreation and cultural centre. It’s the gateway to the wetlands of the region, including the Tiger Bay Wetlands and the internationally important Macquarie Marshes, 120km north of Warren. The Centre was established by RiverSmart in 2015.

This is Wayilwan Country, rich in history and culture. The Macquarie River / Wambuul flowing through the centre of Warren township is important to Wayilwan people and their culture, as it is to other residents of the area.

This is the perfect location to Explore and Learn about how important our waterways are to the communities and environment of inland Australia.
